Zero waste planet

LEAP India has always advocated for its partners and customers to move towards a smarter and sustainable operational workflow that eradicates wastage. We, together with our pool of customers, work on new ways to satisfy increasing consumer demand with minimal impact on the environment we live in. We plan to create a Zero Waste Planet by following three mantras:

Eliminating Wastage  

Lean thinking is at the forefront of our initiatives. Since our inception, we've pledged to decrease costs, enhance quality and transform the bottom line by reducing wastage in every area of our operations be it food or packaging waste. It has been our long-term mission to eliminate non-value processes from our workflow to enable reduced inventory, space, and resources, while adhering to reduced turnaround times and meet the ever-increasing consumer demand.

Eradicating Deadhead Miles  

Empty or “deadhead” miles, where trucks run without cargo, significantly increase CO2 emissions and operational costs. LEAP is committed to innovative solutions that reduce CO2 emissions in supply chain, cutting both emissions and fuel expenses to contribute to a more sustainable logistics ecosystem.

How do we substantiate it? Using Product Carbon Footprint (PCF)

PCF is a standardized, science-based approach used to quantify the greenhouse gas emissions associated with a product across its life cycle. Following internationally recognised standards (ISO 14067 / GHG Protocol Product Standard), PCF answers a critical question: What is the carbon impact of this product?

At LEAP, we have conducted Product Carbon Footprint assessments for pallets, crates, and inserts, enabling us to measure emissions associated with raw materials, manufacturing, transportation, use, and end-of-life scenarios. 

Through this PCF-based approach, we quantify the carbon savings enabled by LEAP’s pooling model, helping our customers make informed, lower-carbon supply chain decisions.

LEAP India, specializing in asset pooling and supply chain solutions, offers a range of plastic pallets, including 1200 x 1000 T and N types, along with foldable large containers (FLCs) for efficient and sustainable transportation and storage.
